Loving greetings to you and the family in the most holy name of our gracious Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.
Dearly beloved, it is my pleasure and privilege to interact and have this time of fellowship with you through this medium. This is our first News Letter (Break Free) this January, 2008. The Lord has been our Ebenezer despite the onslaught of the devil in 2007. You can also declare without any shadow of doubt that His grace was indeed sufficient for you. 2Cor.12:9.
First I thank our blessed Lord Jesus for making this channel of communication possible. I also thank Bro. Williams & his wife, Pastor Donnaven Teo and my dear friend in Gua Musang Bro. P.C Chua who came all the way to Singapore while I was there and encouraged me greatly to start this News Letter. And my brother William Dass & Julie. May the Lord continue to bless them.
The Lord crowned the year 2007 with His goodness. And kept us busy for the works of the Kingdom from the month of November till now. We were greatly encouraged by His servant Pastor Jeremiah and his dear wife in Penang-Malaysia who lovingly invited me to minister 3 days in their Mountain Movers Ministry. It was a wonderful time of refreshing in the presence of the Almighty God. The Word of the Lord was preached uncompromisingly in God’s love. And the Lord was gracious to confirm His Word by delivering His people and breaking satanic curses and bondages. The sick were healed and precious souls saved into God’s Kingdom. The Lord opened other doors to minister in few places both in Malaysia and Singapore.
On December, 28th to 30th Pastor Gabriel and the leadership of New Life Church Mumbai spent huge amount of money to organize ‘The Festival of Joy Crusade’. I was invited as the guest speaker. It was an open heaven, night after night, the Holy Spirit moved among the people and made Jesus real. Chains of darkness were broken in many lives. The Anointing of the Lord was present to heal, deliver and save precious souls in all the 3 nights of the crusade. At least 50 souls were added to God’s kingdom. Only heaven can fully declare all that the Lord did in Mumbai. I thank the servant of God, the leaders and all the prayer warriors of the church for their contribution to the success of this Crusade. We give the Lord all the glory, for He alone is worthy. Amen.
The Lord enabled us to conduct Pastors Seminar in Power Sanctuary at Chennai on 4th January, 2008. From 9.00am to 2.30pm. Rev. James Willson, a missionary based in Ayer Tawar mightily challenged and encouraged the Pastors to be more effective in the works of the ministry. And trust God’s faithfulness to keep His promises. All the Pastors were richly blessed by Rev. James ministry. And the Lord enabled us to provide lunch, good chicken Biriyani for the entire participant. We are blessed.
God’s Promise for the Year
2008 A Year Of Great Reward
The Lord has declared Great Promises for all His children this year. Yet many of God’s people will only see or hear of His faithfulness. We must break free from all man made religious traditions not based on God’s Word in order to walk in and inherit God’s unfailing promises for us this year.
I’m sure the Holy Spirit is also bearing witness with your spirit (Rom.2:15, 8:16). Truly this is the year of the Holy Spirit, a year of great break through. God’s Word is ineffective without the working of His Spirit. (Gen.1:1-3). It is the Spirit that gives life and form to the spoken Word (Jn.6:63). Even today it is the Holy Spirit that will give life and form to the Promised Word in 2008 for the Sons of God (Gal.3:28).
God’s Promise for the Righteous:
The Bible says, “The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. So that a man shall say, verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth” (Ps.58:10-11). The question is, are You a righteous man or woman? 2008 is the year of the Righteous Recompense and Reward. (v11) says, “...verily there is a reward for the righteous...”
Yes you are the righteous on this earth if Jesus Christ has become your Lord and only saviour. Beloved we are not talking about religious righteousness, where a man or group of men declare you righteous because you conform to their twisted religious mind by way of your financial contribution or act of human goodness. The Bible says, human “... righteousness are as filthy rags...”(Isa.64:6). We are talking about God’s righteousness by Grace. Righteousness imputed to us for accepting the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross by faith. The Bible says, Jesus was “…made sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2Cor.5:21). There is Not a Single Person Living Today that is Righteous outside of Jesus Christ. No holy water on earth can cleanse the guilt of sin but the Blood of Jesus Christ. (1Jn.1:7). He (Jesus) is our Righteousness.
So God’s Promise is for you. The Bible says, “...He is a Rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”(Heb.11:6). Behold “…his reward is with him…” (Isa.40:10). (1Cor.3:8) says, “…and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour” So what have you been doing for the Lord and the Kingdom of God? The way you live does it honour God?
He will honour Acts of Righteousness
God said, “…for them that honour me I will honour…” (1 Sam.2:30).
The Bible says, “…seedtime and harvest…and day and night shall not cease” (Gen.8:22). The Lord will reward our labour of faithfulness this year. So what have you been sowing into God’s Kingdom. Some of us have allowed greed and unrighteous self dignity to rule and control our lives. We are even ashamed to identify ourselves with Christ in the midst of the heathen. We talk about everything, sports, politics, and fashion etc but not about Christ, the only One that can quench and satisfy hungry and thirsty souls. How many tracts or Christian literature you distributed last year? How many persons tasted the love of God through you and came to know His saving grace? Negative I guess.
As You Have Done
And you are jumping up and down because of God’s Blessed Promise for 2008. The Bible says, (Gal.6:7-8) “Be not deceived: God is not mocked, whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap…” As you have done, this year the same shall be measured unto you. All that you have been sowing and planting faithfully through the years will be rewarded this year. To the faithful it’s a Year of Reaping. You will break free against all odds and from every satanic hindrance and oppression. Just as Isaac of old, he received the abundance of God’s goodness in the mist of severe draught and uncertainty. Against all odds he believed and walked in God promise. (Gen.26:12) “Isaac sowed and reaped…” Beloved this will be your potion this year in Jesus name. Amen. “…and a full reward shall be given to you…” (Ruth.2:12), and all “…your labour (for the Master) is not in vain…” (1Cor.15:58)
The Question is Have You Been Faithful In?
1, Doing the works of the Lord
Today many see God’s ministry as a means of livelihood. I met a man of God years ago in Marthandam Tamil Nadu, a clergy on his well dressed cassock in the bus after one of my Evangelical Gospel meeting. I honoured him as a man of God. But I was astonished with what he said in process of our conversation. He said he is a Hindu who could not get a descent employment so he decided to study Bachelors of Theology degree. Now giving a parish to pastor. I had to minister and explain to him the lofty office and the position entrusted to him without knowing Christ as his personal Lord and saviour. I asked him to accept Christ first and be saved. You can understand why many of our churches are dead today. People are looking for degrees to be ordained not the Anointing or the call of God.
Some of us fool and lie to ourselves in greed; they say, "I will do "fool" time ministry when I’m retired from my job." Why wait till after retirement before we can serve God? I know few noble men of God despite the pressure from their secular job, create significant time to go and preach the Gospel message to others. Do you think God needs worn out vessels to get His job done? He doesn’t need what the world has discarded to do His work.
We must understand that even the secular jobs are entrusted to us from Almighty God. (Rom.13:1-8). Are you faithful and honouring God in your work place? (Col.3:22-24). Your job is God’s ministry to you. Be faithful to your employer and be blessed.
2, Your Tithing and Offering
The Bible says, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse...if I will not open the windows of heave…” (Mal.3:8-13). God is quite simply saying, "you keep ninety percent but give only ten percent to the storehouse." Even in this majority of God’s people are unfaithful. Yet we are expecting God to honour His Word in our ministries, businesses and labour. If only God’s people will honour this commandment. There will be more than enough in every church of the Living God. Let us examine our hearts. Even the Levites paid tithes. (Heb.7:9). Ask yourselves, "Am I faithful in my tithing?" The Lord will surely honour your faithfulness this year.
(Mat.10.41-42) “…shall receive a prophet reward…” (Lk.6:38) says, “Give, and it shall be given unto you…” Do we really believe this? We can eliminate and break the chains poverty in the House of God if we indeed believe this scripture. Remember sooner or later this life is going to be over, what will you take along when death calls?
Reward of the Wicked
The Year of Reward is not only for the righteous, even the wicked and the disobedient shall be rewarded richly this year. Only genuine repentance can turn away God’s just recompense of reward upon the wicked and the disobedient. Remember, “For the wages of sin is death…” (Rom.6:23). In (Acts.1:18) The Bible says, there is a “… reward of iniquity…” In 21Pet.2:13) “And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness…” In (Col.3:25) “But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done…” Beloved whatever we have achieved or acquired in this realm is too temporary and only skin deep. (Job.1:21) he said, “…and naked shall I return thither...” Let us be wise investors into God’s eternal Kingdom. We pray that you and your family will enjoy the full protection, the choicest blessing and guidance of the Holy Spirit throughout this New Year. Amen. Stay Blest.
Happenings and Prayer Needs!
The carnage and the onslaught of hell against the Christian community in the State of Orissa, North India still continues since December 2007. God’s ministers have been slaughtered and many churches and Christian homes burned have been burned. Unconfirmed report is being circulated among the Christian community in Chennai about the burning alive of three Pastors and more than 200 Christians missing recently in that State. There has been a total blackout of these events in the news media. These killings must stop. Please Pray that the Prince of Peace will visit the State of Orissa and rise up for His people.
